Combines useful context
Vela normalises selected health, recovery and workout records so they can be considered together without exposing provider-specific data to the browser.
Personal · private · evidence-led
Vela is a private, single-user fitness and health application. It brings together recovery, activity, strength-training and subjective data to support proportionate daily guidance and longer-term reflection.
Vela is not a public service and does not offer account registration. Access to the application and its health data is restricted to its owner.
What it does
Vela normalises selected health, recovery and workout records so they can be considered together without exposing provider-specific data to the browser.
Deterministic rules suggest whether to keep, reduce or skip training and optional cardio. Every recommendation identifies the evidence that supports it.
Daily feedback and completed training help evaluate whether advice was useful, without silently changing the underlying training plan.
Google Health access
With the owner’s explicit permission, Vela requests read-only access to selected Google Health activity and fitness, sleep, heart-rate variability, resting-heart-rate and weight records.
Vela uses those records to create private daily summaries, personal baselines and evidence for fitness recommendations. It does not sell health data, use it for advertising or make it available through this public website.
